The annual Green Week is an ideal networking point for key players in the agricultural, food processing and horticultural industries. Notable amongst the various attendees this year was Zimbabwe’s Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development Honourable Dr Anxious Jongwe Masuka. Our CEO Carl Heinrich Bruhn had the honour of meeting with a Zimbabwean Delegation led by the Honourable Minister and Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Germany Her Excellency Alice Mashingaidze.
Zimbabwe is of particular interest for CHB’s investment endeavours, from its fertile soil to its vast mineral wealth. Both parties discussed the importance of strengthening the relationship between Germany and Zimbabwe not only in the agricultural industry, but other industries as well. Honourable Minister Masuka welcomed Carl Heinrich Bruhn’s keen interest in investing in Zimbabwe and highlighted that Zimbabwe is ‘open for business.’ The CHB Investment Group looks forward to future collaboration with Zimbabwe.
